Late lin 2023,I was comissioned by the artist Mike Badger to provide a sci-fi-inspired score to his installation of Rockets & Robots shown at Galeri Harlech throughout December 2023.
The music I created was played in the Galeri during the run of the show and was designed to accompany the exhibits rather than take centre stage.
On the opening night I also perfomed a variation of the soundtrack live in front of a packed house.

There aren't enough 'favourite track' dropdowns for me to say all the tracks I loved on first listen to this album... We have played Yellow Belly's 'Condition White' track on daytime playout for quite a while as a station favourite, so looking forward to playing a few from this album. Cholly, Warrington Runcorn, Dohnavùr, Field Lines Cartographer, Sulk Rooms, Polypores, Bethan Lloyd, Kimber, Maria Uzor and Frazer vs Steve H all also deserve a special mention as top tracks. This is as good as the officially released WRNTDP titles on CIS. Very pleased to pick it up, where the pieces here are longer than most on the records they benefit from the slow unwinding they are afforded. The 18 minute live set excerpt is particularly immersive. Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to release this on vinyl as a companion to the inevitable repressing of This Nation's Most Central Location. Great stuff. Oh and you get a cool magazine to read as well. Awesome. shaun rogan
